The Mandarin Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing and strengthening Chinese language and culture education in schools and to promoting international student and teacher exchanges.
The Mandarin Institute works nationally with schools, community members and other entities to establish programs and promote the teaching and learning of Chinese. To elevate the number of and proficiency level of students studying Chinese language and culture, we provide national Chinese Education Conferences, platforms for sharing best practices and classroom teaching materials on TheMandarinCenter.org, hands-on professional development and innovative student programs. The Institute works globally with schools to promote cross-border exchanges to better facilitate understanding between the United States and China.
